A trustworthy romanization reference should always preserve the original script, identify the language, name the conversion standard, retain meaningful diacritics, explain alternative forms, and distinguish formal romanization from translation and pronunciation guidance.
Romanization is most useful not when it hides the original writing system, but when it creates a clear and traceable bridge between scripts.
